Didn't read yet because it was too long. Or does this not contain the relevant information?
Edit: it looks like this only shows the SECs public statements about the rule adoptions? The document isn't clear to readfor me and I don't know much about legal matters.
I am both surprised and excited at this news. There have been many rule change proposed and commented on in droves by household investors over the last few years. Most of them have been perceived as positive for us. Yet, I don’t see much impact. I am hopeful this lawsuit will yield tangible changes for the markets we trust to give us a shot at a better future. You have my full support, Thank you Urvin Team!
Thanks! For now I'd say just stick around and keep paying attention! We'll need lots of help with this as it proceeds, but at the moment it's early stages.
Besides that, I think it is asking the SEC to review the rules they have made. So kind of lost the initial complaint? The rules they made were not what was wanted. But they didn't lose in front of court.
So today We The Investors has sued the SEC. We're tired of half measures and a refusal to address the underlying causes of market structure problems.

Great! Hopefully the judges in this case will not be as incompetent as the sec!
Thanx Dave for all u've done and still are doing😊
Thanks!
Godspeed!
Very exiting! @dlauer can you give a high level briefing on some of the specifics in the suit?
Unfortunately not just yet - we have to play this one close to the vest for the time being. Soon!
There is information publicly about this here https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/69237619/1208669415/we-the-investors-v-sec/ at least.

Correct - this is just a petition, it's not the actual brief we will file.
Awesome. Will this lawsuit leverage this community somehow?
It will 100% Stay tuned!
Thank you for working to make the market a fair place to trade securities.
Any thoughts on joining with other similar entities to leverage the suit? Ie. Better Markets.
We're open to working with anybody who is aligned with our cause.
Thank you Dave and Alex and WTI! Chairman Gensler seems to be a big disappointment. Glad there is some way forward.
I'm glad to see it, but after years of watching the same scam tactics, its hard to believe anything will work.

Thank you for your support. We will try every way possible to fix this system.
Great to shine a light in the darkness, hopefully shine light on a few lies and help progress change for a fairer market
Thank you...it is time for changes!!
Is the link to the full petition available for review?
So amazing, Keep up the hard working protecting retail investors!
This is fantastic, great work and good luck! Aside from emotional, how else can we support this law suit?
Thanks! For now I'd say just stick around and keep paying attention! We'll need lots of help with this as it proceeds, but at the moment it's early stages.
Wen moon 🌕?
The doc says “review”
does that mean you lost your initial complaint?
Apparently that doc was just a petition, not the actual suing

@dlauer does the change in administration effectively mean this lawsuit is DOA?
