Top Movers in Watchlist Component

In Part 5 of our Features Series, we told you about your Watchlist Dashboard—how you can add, filter, and leverage this personal space to create your very own view of the markets. In this lesson, we’re featuring the closely-related Top Movers in Watchlist component.

What It Is

The Top Movers in Watchlist component appears on your Hub and works in tandem with the Watchlist Dashboard. The Top Movers component spotlights the tickers on your Watchlist that are currently showing the biggest gains or losses.

How It Works

This component retrieves and displays the tickers in your Watchlist showing the highest increase or sharpest drop in price. You’ll see this component prominently displayed in the upper left portion of your Hub every time you sign in.

What You Can Do With It

See what’s trending in the markets at a glance.
Spot sudden spikes and drops in the tickers you follow.
Add any ticker to your Portfolio. Just hit the (+).
Remove any ticker from your Watchlist. Just hit the (*).
Use as a shortcut to your Watchlist Dashboard, where you can view all of your tickers along with related News and Community Posts.

Why It’s So Cool

Now that you’ve created your own view of the markets using your Watchlist, you’ll get an immediate, real-time summary of this view every time you sign in. See the markets in real time, at a glance, through the lens you’ve created.
