The Board also unanimously recommends that stockholders vote against proposition 4.
So that may leave you wondering...
How do I vote my proxy?
Your proxy materials will come directly from the broker or transfer agent (Computershare) to your inbox or address on file. This can regularly take up to a week from the time the issuer initially files with the SEC. You can contact your broker/CS if you have any questions.
*Also be sure that if you have multiple brokerages accounts, you will need to get a different control number for each one. So if you carry shares in 2 different accounts + Computershare, then you will have 3 different control numbers and will be voting 3 different times.
It's also worth noting that 1 share=1 vote, and that number is determined by the number of shares you hold on the share record date. As has been the case historically, this will have been some time in mid-April for Gamestop.
Steps to Voting:
Have your control number - Obtained from your broker or Computershare. Not to be shared with anyone. This number should be confidential.
Input that control number through official channels only (through Gamestop corporate site or links from your broker/Computershare).
Understand who and what you are voting for - Take a moment to see what the board recommends you vote for if you are unsure (like the NO on Prop 4 mentioned earlier.) This community can not tell you how to vote, only you can decide that.
Submit your ballot.
Come tell everyone how proud you are to have voted!
Gamestop's Board of Directors is urging everyone to vote as soon as possible and VOTE NO ON PROP 4.
Gamestop has released their proxy materials and are urging stockholders to submit their proxy cards without delay.
